game published in 14 years since 2009's Call of Pripyat, and the first to be released on consoles. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is a nextgen sequel to the award-winning PC game franchise developed by GSC Game World, set to deliver a unique action experience of survival in the post-apocalyptic Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. The game resurfaced years later in 2018, with the release date set for 2021, later delayed to 2022, then delayed again to 2023. Initially announced following the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, it was initially planned to have released in 2012, before it was ultimately cancelled on the year of its intended release.
